At FCX, we are committed to protecting your privacy. All genetic test results and any personal information are maintained under a strict policy of confidentiality.

Your DNA Sample

Your DNA sample will not be used for any other genetic testing besides those ordered by you. After your test has been completed and verified your DNA sample will be stripped of all personal identifiers and may be used as controls in future assays. Alternately if you prefer, you may submit a written request to have your DNA sample destroyed after completion and verification of your test.

Your Genetic Information

Your genetic information will not be directly associated with your personal information collected from the Intake Form, but will be stored in our secured database, maintained to facilitate clientís requests for replacing lost reports. Under no conditions will this information be released to third parties in a way that discloses personal information, except with your permission, unless required by law.

Your Personal Information

Your personal information will not be disclosed to anyone outside of FCX nor within FCX except as needed by those conducting the genetic screening and by those assembling your report, except with your permission, unless required by law.

Additional Information

Requests from Clients

Information about your genetic screening, FCX Company's Terms and Conditions, or future offers, may be obtained directly from FCX.

Your report will only contain information about the genetic variants tested by FCX. Broader information about the genes and genetic variants will not be provided in this report. We suggest that individuals wanting detailed information about their genetic makeup and/or genetic testing should consult their personal doctor or a genetic counseling professional.

As Required by FCX

You will not be contacted by FCX unless additional information is deemed necessary to deliver the service described in this offer to you.

FCX may send you an offer in the future regarding new developments in genetic screening, which you may accept by entering into a separate agreement for this information.

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained through or from these services will create a warranty or other obligation unless otherwise expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions.

You may print a single copy of any page from this Site for your personal, non-commercial use. However, you may not modify such material, and you must retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original material on any copy you make of it.
